When dealing with an EVA, what's the difference between 2C6D, 2C6D-A -B or -C?

I've done a little browsing over some old quickspecs:

The 2C6D was the first model sold in 42U opal cabinets, but without any loop switches.

-A models came in 42U opal cabinets with loop switches.

-B models came in 41U graphite cabinets with loop switches.

-C models came in 42U graphite cabinets with loop switches.

It is good to know the cabinet height if an EVA5000 is upgraded in-place to an EVA8000. A HSV210 controller pair requires one addition U and that is not enough for an 41U cabinet:

12 disk drive enclosures, each 3U = 36U
2 loop switches, each 1U = 2U
2 HSV210 controllers, each 2U = 4U

36U + 2U + 4U = 42U
