Hi,
I think the "paper certificate" you have needs to be converted. Go to this HP website:

https://webware.hp.com/welcome.asp

and follow the instructions under "generate licence(s)". If you have what I think it is you will need to enter the info off the piece of paper and then you will get your licence issued.

Mark...

Hello,

We just bought an EVA4000 2c4d for a customer. The installation went fine and everything.

Now, my understanding is that the new CV EVA 7 comes with everything for free, including unlimited Tb license, BC EVA and CA EVA for 180 days. Now, this customer bought a unlimited Tb license and I would like to know how I can enter this key to license it. I only have a paper certificate here for T3726B and no keys were seen.

Please help, I have 178 days left to solve this :-)

Vicent,

It is just a paper. You don't need to enter a license for the capacity to use on an EVA

For BC / CA is a license required

I strongly disagree. There is a new procedure for the CV EVA 7, 180 days for free everything. It explicitly told me that I have 180 days left when I installed it, even on Unlimited Tb license!

Read here for more info.

http://www.hp.com/go/cveva-lic-mgt

Thanks Luk for your information, thanks to you I realised that HP made a mistake and sent us the wrong license PN for our EVA.

We are in contact with them to change the licenses.

Kind Regards and thanks!
