Smart Array RAID Controllers Support Matrix

It looks the matrix posted at http://docs.hp.com/en/SM_SA3/SA_Support_Matrix.htm
requires a correction?

I came across this while looking info for SA6402 (A9890A). The matrix shows the adapter firmware as 2.78. I don't see this version available anywhere on the HP websites. Maybe it should be 2.68 instead??

I can also find 2.68 only, but I have an old copy of this matrix (dated June 1 2007) with version 2.68 mentioned.

I guess the new version is probably in the pipe and will be released soon.

There is alread a version 2.76 (B) (19 Jun 2007) listed in the windows download section, so I assume version 2.78 could really be the next.

There's firmware 2.80 B from 25 Sep 07

The files on that link are online flash components for windows - how should this work with HP-UX? (I'm pretty sure we talk about HP-UX here).

For online and offline updates with either EFI or hp-ux a file like CYBORG268.BIN is needed.

The matrix link which I had provided was dated November 2007. Now I see the matrix is dated December 2007. Looks like the firmware was released sometime in Dec'07 and the matrix was updated. Maybe someone did take a note of this thread? not sure.

It's kind of hard to locate proper and complete technical information related to any HP products ( needs to visit so many HP websites sometimes!!). Moreover if HP does this kind of proactive job, then it's just a waste of time to look for something which wasn't released ever in the public domain. I think the product's BSC website needs to be updated as well. I don't see any such information at least related to the firmware in case of A9890A at
