ACU Create logical drive

Got a P400 and want to create a locical drive Raid 5, 700Gb. The job is running/queued(?). Status is "Background parity Initialization/Queued" How long will this take, how to tell whether any progress is made?

Hello,

did you any I/O on that logical drive? AFAIK the parity Initialization will begin with the first I/O that is done on the logical drive. You can format the logical drive under you OS and copy some files on it. Then the parity Initialization process should be started.
