i'm going to install CommandView Device Manager server for an XP10k

the server that will host CV and the SVP are in diffrent networks but CV server is able to reach the SVP.
My question is: Is it possible to install CV on this server?

SVP : 172.22.51.80 / 255.255.255.0
CV_SERVER: 172.23.1.100 / 255.255.255.0

Generally there should be no problems.

You could run into a firewall issue if you have to go through.

Also, I have found the java application is quite slow if you are going accross a very slow network. I have a slow connection where the JAVA CV application times out more times than it connects.

I have this situation. My CVAE Server is located in one city and manages XP Disk Arrays in other cities without a problem.

Hi,
yes its possible to install CV on the same server.But normal practice is that its better to install it in separate server.
