XP 24000 CA replication for External Storage

Hi All,

I have a query related to XP 24000 CA replication for External Storage .
If I use "external storage" on XP24000 for EVA 5000, can I still replicate it to create a DR solution for VmWare, or replicating between Physical and Virtual configuration is not supported.

CA replication works just fine for External storage. I.e. If your EVA LUNs are mapped to the XP and presented out form the XP to your hosts, you can still replication those EVA LUNs (presented through the XP) using Continuous Access XP.

I cant confirm this as I dont work for HP, but your HP account rep will confirm it.

Ive deployed it lots of time on HDS USP V with external storage (XP24000 and HDS USP V are the same box just with different front door - both Hitachi storage arrays).
