Hi,

That's fine.
I know "mirroring" is non existent now....

But, my primary quistion is:

Can we have two raid levels setup in one enclosure (say, having 12 disks)

For example, can i set "Vraid1" for a few disks & "Vraid6" for the remaining disks in the same enclosure (in the same EVA)??

Ramesh

RAID 0 isn't mirroring, this is non-redundant.

However, all data is accross all disks within a disk group, no matter what raid level do you configure for vdisks.

Each vdisk can have a different level, that's possible.

You should get the user manual from http://www.hp.com/go/bsc but creating a vdisk is quite simple. You just choose the raid level during creation (also refer to the CV online help).
