Battery failing on EVA8000

Hi,

I am working on an EVA 8000 had a battery failed message on Command view and replaced it following the correct replacement procedure. But now the battery shows still failed even after replacement.

Have replaced the battery several times but didnt had such problem.

HI,

In some cases it was found that the EVA cache battery still showed failed after it was replaced, EVA8000 had the same issue with some xcs versions like ver.6110.

In this case restarting the controller (with the failed battery) should fix it.

Note : This may not be applicable in all situations but it is better to try restarting the controller once if possible when we have repeated battery failures.

Reseat the battery.

Try rebooting the master controller.
