Is there a way to remove a snap pool without affecting the master volume?

Hi Per,

this is a very good question.

Everytime when i tried to remove a snap-pool i have to convert the Master Volume to a Standard Volume. And everytime the System hangs completely. The only way to get it back running is to plug off the power cables and restart the whole system.

Thats not the best way to deal with data...!

So if anybody can help, it would be nice.

I do have the same problem and HP does not provide solution for it.

In order to remove i.e. delete a snappool you must You must disassociate all master volumes from the snap pool before you can delete it.

It means you will need convert those volumes to a standard volumes via CLI commands.
Steps 1: show master-volumes which will list all the master volumes.
Step 2: convert master-to-std <volume_name>
