      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Folks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I´m confused, i got a failure disk on my disk array that is mirror with another one.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Looks like the disk has failed even if it is shown as CLAIMED.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think it is a fibre connected disk enclosure (FC10 or DS2405?)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You should proceed and replace the disk:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;pvchange -a N ...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;etc&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;according to the manual.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since it is fibre connected, you need to work with&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;fcmsutil ... replace_dsk ...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After inserting the new disk, run ioscan and look into the syslog, it will tell you what to do.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Disks inside a fc10 or ds2405 are always hot pluggable.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What enclosure do you have???&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(ioscan -fn will tell)</description>
