Ok, I have the second DS2400 daisy chained, but now I am experiencing a new problem. I keep losing disks. An ioscan reports different drives as NO_HW. Yesterday I had 2 drives report as NO_HW and today there is another one. I replaced the drives but I am still getting this. Could the backplane or controllers be bad?

I have one DS2400 connected to a RP2470 as a JBOD. Currently the DS2400 is maxed with 15 drives and I would like to double the disk space and increase the volumes.

Can I daisy chain a second DS2400 to the first one?

Thank you.

If you can get one - YES.

Just set the rotary switch to another number, the disk will get addresses from another range.

Thank you.

Once I add the second disk system, How do I expand my existing logical volumes...effectively doubling my disk space for the existing volumes.
