But when "armdsp -i" is executed it doesn't show any output. Even armdiscover also doesn't recognize the array. <BR /><BR />When armfmt is tried it gives "invalid array id" error message. That should refresh the connection. Two Fibre cables were connected to brocade switch from CPU and 2 cables were connected from VA7100 dual controller to brocade switch.<BR />2. Using vfpfmt the array disks were formatted and then initialized again. It gave status as ready.<BR />3. Then from the OS side , tried using "armdsp -i" but it gave no output.<BR />4. Stopped and then started hostagent.<BR />5. This is typically set to 10MB in size. You should have the instructions for the VFP (Virtual Front Panel) that came with the array. This will give you step by step instructions on how to create LUN 0 and prep the array.
