ok, got it a little bit working. Adaptec card is recognized(used the w2008r2 driver from adaptec), i can get into the adaptecs bios but the harddisks(11 are not recognized). Dont know if the other 3 empty slots needs to be filled with something.

Also, the lights of the 11 discs are not blinking on the unit.

Anyone??

What do you want to do with this old box? It must be more than 10 years old now.

Supported controllers are listed here:

A single disk today has more capacity than this whole box.

BTW, if I google the product, I get manuals within the first hits.

many thanks for the reply. The purpose is just form learning, not for real life use offcourse.

2nd, i googled also but no info about what could be the problem. Why the discs aren't enabled.

Dou you have a dual bus or single bus controller in the chassis? What scsi controller do you use?
