Hi

I has a question with VA7100 (A6263AZ).

I has it with dual controller connecting to FC switch using 2x FC cable.

Now, one controller is failed, the NO_HW is showed under this controller path. I replace a new one, everything seems to be OK, the green battery is flashing but it still show NO_HW under this controller path. Do I need further action after I replace a new controller.

My system is cluster one. pls refer to attached draw.

Thanks for help.
Veron

Do a,

ioscan -fnC disk
insf -e -C disk

may be the instance numbers got changed. I mean you may not see the disks using the same path (it might have changed from cxtxdx to cytydy).

-Karthik S S

Look at syslog to see if it complains about an N_port that cannot be connected to anymore. You should use that N_port id with the replace_dsk command.
Regards,
