topic Oracle with what Array controller in Disk Enclosures

I have several Compaq DL380 servers with Integrated Array controllers installed. We are running Oracle on these servers and having performance issues. How can I tell if it is the Array Controller causing the problem? What Array Controller should I be using with an Oracle installation?

Hi
If possible , reboor serveur with Smart Start and run ADU : that will give you an idea if there's anything wrong with the ROC .
Or else also check firmware levels of drives and controller.

Are you having problems installing or running Oracle ?

The ingrated Controller doesn't have a lot of cache compared to a SA5300 ( for example ) . That could be a cause of poor performance
