I opened that link (probably shouldn't have) and it goes to

"D2600/D2700 Disk Enclosure User Guide
Smart Array P212/P411 Controller Environment" .pdf. So it's probably safe.

On page 16 in the .pdf - there is a "manufacturing diagnostic port" on the i/o-module that has "MFG" labled under it.

Supposedly you can hook up a serial cable to it and run some diagnostics.

You need an RJ45Z serial cable
