We had a Power Failure and recoveredwith multiple reboots. But we are still getting the following messages:
LUN 1 - DEGRADED : WAITING REPAIR
LUN 9 - DEGRADED : WAITING REPAIR
LUN 15 - DEGRADED : WAITING REPAIR
LUN 17 - DEGRADED : WAITING REPAIR
DISK 3:9 ENCLOSURE 2 SLOT 3 - NO RESPONSE
DISK 3:10 ENCLOSURE 2 SLOT 3 - NO RESPONSE

What i could do for correcting the
"DEGRADED : WAITING REPAIR " message ?

Does replacing the Disks in 3:9(mirrored) and 3:10(mirrored) would help? If i am replacing what needs to be backedup and restored to this disks? Or the reboot itself takes care of writing the data in the Mirrored disks?

Thanks for your Information.

Milan

what is the array?
Try reseating the disks that are not responding. I have seen some arrays not provide enough power on power up resulting in some disks failing to spin... and be marked as failed.

Later,
Bill

For the drives showing "No Response" try failing and then unfailing them with the commands where <ARRAYID> is the serial or allias of the Disk Array:

amutil -D 3:9 <ARRAYID>
amutil -d 3:9 <ARRAYID>
amutil -D 3:10 <ARRAYID>
amutil -d 3:10 <ARRAYID></ARRAYID></ARRAYID></ARRAYID></ARRAYID></ARRAYID>
