      <title>smart array controller emergency  replacement (planing)</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;we are planing a setup with D2700 with&amp;nbsp;P421 controller&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;we also have a few P800 and P212&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;if the P421 died, wuld pluging in the P212 or the P800 work?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;And just to confirm: If you plug in a supported controller - it will get the RAID configuration from the disks - you might have to press Accept(F2 or such) after powering on the server (and install ADG/RAID6 license if this is used).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
