D3610 and connection redundancy by two controllers, for example two P408 and 4 way cabling

I'm looking for any info, is it proper configuration with two 2port P408 controllers, connected to single D3610 Enclosure.

On the schema above, I thin controller1 will be first P408 HPSA, and controller2 will be second one. Is it supported configuration?

Unfortunately I don't know, what will happen when single disk failure, and is replaced by new one. What two P408 controllers do? Both will repair RAID, or one of them will do it?
