Mark, I am looking for the *.cfg eisa configuration files and windows NT 4.0 and 2000 (if exist) drivers for a Smart+ Array Controller. It uses spare# 181132-001. If you can help, please let me know.

I also have one of these eisa smart array controllers from a 4500R proliant server. i'm trying to install windows 2k server on it and after it gets done with the copying files to hard drive, it reboots and I get a "a disk read error occurred" press Ctrl alt delete to restart".

I saw one post and they guy had said to get the latest firmware. I have 2.26 on here and I can't seem to find anything higher. I downloaded the 4 disk pack off of compaq's site labeled "Options ROMPaq For Array Controllers
version 3.10 A (11 Jun 02)
" and booted from every disk and it said it couldn't find any supported devices.

Well if it helps any of you guys, I went and bought a smart 2/2E EISA card to replace the regular smart arrray controller. Worked fine.. SO my guess is that its not supported under windows 2k or xp...

Did anyone get a reply to their request for
documentation? I posted a request in Dec. 02
and haven't heard anything.

Is this thread dead or is Mark Cloutier/Tech
Support monitoring it. I have seen many links
on Compaq's confusing support site to the
Smart Array Controller 181132-001, but nothing
specific regarding documentation for the board.

Any info on settings/configuration for this is
appreciated.
