I want va7100 firmware update. ( to hp16)
but error.....

error message:
failed to se the firmware download advisory lock

what's mean ?
how firmware update ?

I agree with Harry - get an HP service tech to perform the upgrade - it's under warranty.

Sometimes, from a previous error condition, the Advisory Lock is not cleared. The Command View command 'armmgr -b FwDownload' will reset the lock.

The Advisory Locks are intended to keep the array from executing two commands simultaneously where the commands were not designed to do so. Such as two firmware downloads at the same time.
