Using NT4, SP6, and all the latest Compaq drivers, SSD, formatting NTFS partitions with this controller took literally just a few seconds ! This doesn't seem possible? I also formatted with and without array acelleration. I got similar format times. I'm puzzled. How can this be? WHen formatting with other Smart Array controllers I get "normal" format times...just wondering...
