Hello,
disks in odd slots (D1, D3, ..., JA0/D1, JA0/D3 etc) are owned by controller 1, disks in even slots (D2, D4, ..., JA0/D2, JA0/D4 etc) are owned by controller 2.
Primary path for LUNs created within RG1 should be controller 1 and for LUNs within RG2 should be controller 2.
How to find out a primary path depends on OS you use and topology VA is configured in (loop or fabric).
In loop (private/public) you can identify controller by its loop id, in fabric by switch# and port# VA port is connected to.
See http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&docIndexId=3124&locale=en_US&prodSeriesId=64100&prodTypeId=12169
Eugeny
