Hi
I have received a couple of messages over the last few days about on of my disks in an fc10 array,
the disk report is attached but my question is could this be to do with the I/O timeout on the disk or is the disk starting to fail.
i have run STM against it and everything reports back ok.
i would be gratefull for any help.
andy

Hi,
from the report looks like your disk is going to die.

Untill now it was able to recover defective sector, but i will open a support call to have it changed quickly.

HTH,
Massimo
Hi there.
If that disk is mirrored, no problem.
Otherwise you should copy yur data on a replacement using dd infile=olddisk outfile=newdisk.
Rgds
Alexander M. Ermes
