Yes I know I can not configure it as 1/0. I allocated less than 50% of available space on autoraid and store data in 1/0.
So for this conditions it is not necessary to left hot spare?

When I have configured 12H Autoraid only as Raid 1/0 must I have enabled Hot Spare for security of disk failure or no?

You can not configure autoraid directly to work in 1/0 mode. You can allocate less than 50% of available space and autoraid will allocate and store data in 1/0. AHS is good option, but when thinking about 1/0 mode you need to distract AHS capacity from total capacity and then divide by 2 to get maximum size which can be allocated for LUNs
Eugeny

No. In case of disk failure free space will be used for rebuild. After rebuild will complete you simply may have more than 50% allocated space
Eugeny
