If there is some error in the actual file system, mirroring the disk you will also mirror the errors.
anyway read this:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=tis10187
HP NetRAID Question

Hi. I am currently working with a server which has a single logical RAID 0 array of 2 x 4 Gig SCSI drives (8 Gig total) which I believe to be failing as the server keeps gives occasional mismatch errors when we reboot it. The box also has a tendancy to hang at various intervals with absolutely no explaination for it's behaviour. Have checked event log, TopTools etc.. but all reporting clean.

Therefore, I would like to create a mirror of this array on to 2 identical disks to provide redundancy should one of the drives fail completely. So can I mirror a RAID 0 configuration...? I admit to being a little bit confused by the documentation that I have read so far.

Thanks.
