Hello all
I have one fc60 with one controller connect to server .(controller A)
Now I add another controller (controller B)to fc60,but not have fibre channel cable connect to server.
When I use ammgr -c AA,the LED of controller B looks like good .But when I use amdsp -a to check status,it shows controller B is unknown and no responding ,another components are good and firmware are the same.
Should controller B connect to server ?Or another problems?
Does someone help me?

This is ok. As soon as controller B is not connected to the host (host does not see controller B) amdsp will claim it as 'not responding'.
Of course you can work with single controller connected, but for redundancy reasons (and as soon as you've installed controller B) it's better to install one more FC HBA into server and connect controller B to it. In addition, do not forget to configure alternate paths within LVM to allow controller/path failover
Eugeny
