Here is the case:<BR />Compaq ML370G2 1GB<BR />SmartArray 532<BR />36GB*3 RAID 5<BR />Win2K<BR />Dynamic disk partition<BR />Exchange 2000<BR /><BR />I added two more 36GB HDDs and tried to expand the array by creating another logical volume (array extension gave a scary warning of data lost!! so I skipped that)<BR /><BR />Currently, the server boots up with two logical drives. Unfortunately, the array keeps on rebuidling ..rebuilding ...and rebuilding.. for more than 24 hours.<BR /><BR />I noticed that when the rebuilding reached 30%, it goes back to 0% again!!!!!
