problem about VA7410 controller firmware

When I upgraded the firmware of VA7410 controller(use command armdownload),problem arised.It showed "illegal status..."Who can tell me what is wrong with this product and How can I upgrade firmware of the controllers?Thank you very much!!!

Please post whole output. In addition please check fwdownload and passthru advisory locks state (armmgr -b fwdownload)

Thank you for your quick reply!I will do as what you told me in five days.
The output says that this va7410 is in a illegal status and can not be upgraded when I exec the command "armdownload -C -O /xxx.frm {array-id}".

I have a va7410,one windowns 2000 PC connect it ,I want to install seven 146G disk,but va7410's firmware version is HP A100,It doesn't support 146G disk,I want to update VA7410'S firmware to HP 120,but i have not any idea.
Because i have not HP 9000 serer,so update firmware is very difficult to me
