SC10 connectivity

Can I directly connect three A-class servers to a single SC10 with two BCC controllers. In theory I have 4 ports available, but it doesn't seem like a good idea to me, in either full-bus or split-bus mode. I can't find anything on the HP web site as the SC10 seems to have been superceded by VA technology. Anyone know of any archives or whys and why-nots in this area?

Rob,

sure you *can* do that, not saying that it is supported.

Only thing is that you need to set the SCSI IDs of the initiator different on each machine.

However, this is not a problem even in full bus mode (so that all 3 machines see all disks) the targets of the disks are left to right:

0 8 1 9 2 10 3 11 13 12

So this leaves targets 4 5 6 and 7 for the machines.

u could very well do it ,,, as said just see to that there are no SCSI ids clashes in the same bus ..
