You can add an extra disk drive to create extra space, you can extend the partition if it is not the boot drive and you are using win2k and the partition/volume is a dynamic volume.
If not try using paragon partition manager.

I have a Compaq ML-330 server with a Compaq Smart Array 532 controller. I have 3 - 18.2 GB drives in a RAID5 configuration. I have 1 logical drive containing 2 partitions. I wish to extend my data (D:) partition since I am low on disk space. What is the best way to accomplish this? My ideal scenario is to install the drive and extend the existing logical volume and/or d: partition without loss of data or need to restore from backup.
Can this be done? Thanks!

Did you try with partition managers?
