John,
you should recall what have you done recently. If you're not sure, then pick one server and remove this hotfix (if possible) and monitor event log.
BTW, which drivers are running for FC cards? Are they CPQKGPSA or emulex? If yes, then post the value of 'DriverParameters' from its registry.
In addition, make sure that VA is trearing hosts OSes correctly using its host behavior table or default controller host port behavior
Eugeny

VA7400 Errors - Windows Event ID 11

GDay everyone,
We have a VA7400 and lately (seems to be at the same time we incorporated Microsoft Security Patches MS03-039 for Windows 2000&NT4) we have been experiencing a large number of errors on the VA7400 and in the Windows event logs. This progressively degrades the VA7400's access by these servers until they cannot access it any more. These servers have Emulex LP9002L cards installed. To resolve these problems I have to reboot the VA7400. In the Windows event log it states : Event ID 11. and states " A driver detected a controller error on \Device\Hardidk2\DR2". We are getting thousands of errors per hour.
The VA is running HP16 firmware. It has been going fine up until recently so I am at a loss. Any ideas would be greatly appriciated
Thanks

John
