    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yes, U are right. Before writing a DVD it should read a DVD. Is the DVD is original one or copy of original. Sometimes DVDs are not worked in all drives for the required criteria of the software by which it has been writen. Try with another DVD which is containing data.</description>

      <description>I really need some help with this.  I bought a Hp dvd840 dvd writer off ebay and It will read CDs and burn CDs, But cannot read DVds at all.  I have not tried to burn a DVD because I have not got a blank one at the moment.  When I put a DVD movie in the drive it does nothing, and when I look at the drive on My Computer, it says there is no disk inserted.  Any Ideas?</description>
