      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Generally on the DVD blanks, I look at the package and read the label.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you are talking about commercial software/media on DVD that is another matter.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There appears to be and identification utility in the tools listed here:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.linux.com/news/software/multimedia/8250-convert-any-video-file-to-dvd-with-open-source-tools" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.linux.com/news/software/multimedia/8250-convert-any-video-file-to-dvd-with-open-source-tools&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
