The writer stops half way through the backup and locks up the PC. We uninstalled the Adaptec Software. When we try to reinstall using the application Recovery disk we get a message saying 'can't install CD writer software on this PC'.<BR /> <BR /> Any sugestions on how to fix this would be appreciate.
