Boot with M820e CD-Writer

Can anyone help me. I need to create a Boot disk that will recognize the M820e CD-Writer Plus, external. I recall there is a way to create a boot disk with device = settings that will recognize CD-Rom drives.

Have a look here, someone modified a win98 boot disk to include drivers to recognize the M820e. Read some user comments and it sounds like it works great.
