    <description>&lt;P&gt;I purchased a Compaq CD-RW (Mat**bleep**a UJDA330) to go with my Presario 17XL460 laptop. Removal of a CD-R or CD-RW and reinsertion results in failure of disc recognition unless system is rebooted. I am running Win2K Pro on machine. Any suggestions?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Forgot to mention that I am using Nero as the software program but problem occurs with OEM software discs, etc. so I don't see a problem with the software itself.  Device manager sees the drive, just not the disc or the data on it unless the system is rebooted.  This is an OEM drive.</description>
