i recently bought a HP 8200 SERIES burner from ebay, and was wondering where i can get a USB and a power cable for it????

Mike,

The cables are both fairly standard (the USB cable more than the power cord), but both can probably be found at CompUSA, Circuit City or Best Buy.

I looked at the PartSurfer site, as Vince suggested, and the prices there are pretty reasonable, so you might just want to order them online or over the phone from HP. Then you know you got the right ones.
