    <description>I'd tend to blame the hw/drivers...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Granted the OS should exit gracefully, but it is microsoft.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it was working at one point (and you changed nothing) you might consider it a h/w failure which includes dirty cds/cabling..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You might consider downloading the latest drivers for the DVD and your video card too if you haven't already done so.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The better place to ask would be on the microsoft forum..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Later,&lt;BR /&gt;Bill&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <title>Windows 2000 crashes</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i have a hp cd writer dvd combo (9900ci) which runs on a windows 2000 operating systems. The OS reboots by itself while the DVD is playing and sometimes even when playing a game CD on that drive. Is there a way to fix it ?&lt;/P&gt;
