    <description>I am getting kick outer errors on the HPTOOLS diags and when you run the diags it fails on read/write tests and i am wondering if anybody out there has any ideas. I think i will need to replace the drive but i have not got a clue what the above error means..i have included the error report aswell.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks for any help.</description>

      <description>it looks to me that the drive is not finishing the calibration task, every time you load a disk, the drive will calibrate the laser power it will need to write on the media, if this fails, it will not write.&lt;BR /&gt;for what I see the error occurs during the calibration.&lt;BR /&gt;I can suggest to try with a new media, or clear that media carefully.&lt;BR /&gt;if this do not solve, probably you will have to replace the drive</description>

      <description>Thanks for the reply. The media was replaced but the same fault came up so we replaced the drive and everything has been tested and is 100% ok. We were going to clean the heads but decided against it as i have had more problems after they have been cleaned on previous drives over the years. Thanks for the help...</description>
