Greetings,
Ran the DDS Acceptance Test on my old C1533 tape drive. Results included an error message: Log Sense Command (log page 2) failed. Byte 2 0x5 SenseCode 0x24 SenseQual 0x0. Tried to find the meaning of those codes on the web site, but no luck. Most grateful if somebody can help me on this one. Thanks a lot in advance.
Randy
PS: The support ticket looks OK except for a "Invalid EEPROM Log" message.

sense key 0X05 mean ILLEGAL REQUEST

Advanced Sense Code 0X24 and Advanced Sense Code Qualifier 0X00 mena INVALID FIELD IN CDB (Command Block Descriptor)

sound like the Drive received an illegal request, like "disk capacity" command for a tape, it is not a valid command

The message "invalid EEPROM Log", indicate that the data in the log are corrupted, and cannot be displayed because not valid, this is not a problem for your drive,it is just related to some historical data collected with L&TT, do not matter.
