    <description>Tks for your reply and diging for the manuals.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am using DLT VS 80 tape of HP storageworks 1/8 Autoloader. And the frontpanel in it doesnot have any density settings as i have mentioned in the query initially.</description>

      <description>We are using HP storage works autoloader 1/8 DLT VS80. When i format the catridges i have to give the medium size as 81920 MB ( 80 GB x 1024), is there is any way where we can set this value to take in by deafult while formating.</description>

      <description>Ilias,&lt;BR /&gt;can you not set the compression rate on the front panel?&lt;BR /&gt;If it is set to 80Gb a new tape should be format to that density.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Besides that I don't think there is a patch/switch/file you can set.</description>

      <description>Ilias,&lt;BR /&gt;sorry.&lt;BR /&gt;As we don't have a VS80 on site, I can't suggest anything else.&lt;BR /&gt;Perhaps best to contact HP directly, chances are an engineer would be able to confirm straight away.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
