WE HAVE HP BL870C ITANIUM BASED PROCESSOR . IT IS WORKING FINE. OUR O.S WINDOWS 2008 64BIT .
I HAVE DOUBT ABOUT TAPE LIBRARY WE HAVE MSL2024 TAPE LIBRARY. & SOFTWARE HP DATA PROTECTOR A.06.10 ( VER ) . IS IT SUPPORT DISASTER RECOVERY ? LIKE WINDOWS IMAGE. HOW CAN I BACKUP WINDOWS IMAGE AND HOW CAN I RESTORE WINDOWS O.S
PLS ANY ONE HELP ME.

you can defenetly create an OBDR tape however MSL2024 will not do OBDR since you cannot boot from a library only stand alone tapes. If you have a hp stand slone tape drive you can use your OBDR tapes created in the MSL2024.

Dear sir pls help me. because i am going to format my hp BL870c blade server itanium based processor O.S windows 2008 server 64 bit.
1. how can i backup the image
2. how can i boot from cdrom ( itanium server)
3. how can i restore my image
4. very very important how can boot rom cdrom ( itanium server )

IMHO odbr cannot work with IPF servers.

How is the MSL2024 connected to your environment? Is it connected to the BL870 and how? Or is it connected to another server that is used as the master backup server?

I had connected through BL870C BAY THROUGH FIBER SCSI CABLE
