Hi,

Normally these errors are caused when using EFI partition. The EFI partition is causing the jobs to fail, while generating disaster recovery information.

Add the following lines to the dpconfig.ini file:

(Default path: C:Program Files\HP\Data Protector Express\Config\)

Boot Configuration:

1. First stop DP Express service.

2. Open dpconfig.ini file and make the changes as mentioned above.

[disableVamObjects]

3. Save dpconfig.ini file.

4. Start DP Express service, and then check for backup job status.

Example of the DP Express config file after adding this entry is as follows:

[configuration]

nodeGuid={00001001-4EAE63EF-000B5A01-0003CADB}

nodeName=ML370G4G20U25

databaseServerAddress=localhost

isDatabaseServer=Yes

databaseServerName=Data Protector Express Storage Domain

skipCUIDeprecatedMsg=No

[disableVamObjects]
