Compaq SDLT 160/320 with ArcServe and NetWare

We use ArcServeIT 6.6 under NetWare 5.1 SP4 and now we changed our DLT 35/70 with a SDLT 160/320. After the Backup-Job has started, there comes an abend caused by the Tapesvr.nlm. This abend always comes, when using the Tape Device Management in ArcServe.
The HP-Care-Center don??t know about this problem.
Then I tried to upgrade the SDLT??s Firmware with the HP Tape Tools. By starting the hp_ltt.nlm, the server reboots.
Can anyone help me?

Hi,

The SDLT 160/320 is not part of the Certified Device List for ArcServeIT 6.6 and this can be checked at the following site http://support.ca.com/storage/ascdls.html

We have difficulties using Compaq SDLT 110/220 with Netware 5.1 SP5 and previously with SP3 and we are now considering upgrading to BrightStor ARCserve9 to stabilize our backups and have proper support for newer hardware devices like the SDLT 160/320.
