Hi,

I am trying to import a tape created on a Compaq SDLT320 using HP Data Protector onto another server running HP Data Protector but the SDLT is drive is a Compaq SDLT110. I receive the error "Cannot open device () the request could not be performed because of an I/O Device Error.)". Is this error generated because I am trying to import a tape created on a SDLT320 using a SDLT110 drive?
The SDLT320 can read a tape written on a SDLT110, but a 110 can not read a 320.
