topic backup failed in StoreEver Tape Storage

We have a MSL5026S2 tape storage device. When the backup process is starting, everything works properly until the moment there's a tape change. The format of tape 2 is finished and after this we got a scsi error. We cannot reach the device, not by http adress or rs232 port. The front display works properly and no error messages appears. When i switch off the device and then power on again, the device is working again, but the same error occurs when i start the backup again.
