SSL1016 Barcode Reader Option Install

Hello Everyone,

We have purchased Barcode Reader Option (p/n 270152-001) for SSL1016 DLT1 autoloader. After installation Autoloader is not recognizing it. Is there special procedure to activate it?

For: DLT1 1280 Superloader Parts
You need:
Barcode Reader Assembly (1280) 270152-001
For: SSL1016 Tape Autoloader (DLT1-based)
Barcode Reader 341312-001
May I have the product number or the sertial number of your library to check which one is the right one for you.
You need to use HP labels

With some research, I found that this unit came with bar code reader as you can see with the next information:
Option P/N:330815-B21
Description: SSL1016 DLT1 Tape Autoloader (includes two 8-cartridge magazines and a barcode reader)
Just for your information:
The DLT1 1280 SuperLoader unit was replaced by the SSL1016 and it has another spare for barcode reader.
Barcode Reader Assembly for 1280
SP: 270152-001
Barcode Reader assembly for SSL1016 Tape Autoloader(DLT1-based)
SP: 341312-001

For best performance, HP recommends using only HP barcode labels:
Part number C9240-67903 for DLT or SDLT cartridges.
