Data Protector and Sharepoint

Where do I look to find info on how Sharepoint 2007 backup/restore works. I need detail on what level Sharepoint is backed up (file system only or item detail). Can I restore an individual document with Data Protector?
Is a Sharepoint backup just a SQL Server backup or ??

I'm looking fo rthe same info too .
Also I tried to configure the integration but it fails to open the SPS server with the credential I provided ( which are the farm's administrator )
Did you attempt to configure the integration ?

I have not tried to configure yet. I am trying to determine if Data Protector has the detail I need for Sharepoint recovery.
Did you find any info yet?

I have the same question about Sharepoint 2007.
I understand that HP is moving internally to Sharepoint 2007 so when will we see Data Protector support?

We are looking at Quest products because DP60 does not support Sharepoint 2007 :-(
