Hi,

i have one question

i have a daily backup and when the computer is off, the backup starts when the computer is the next time on

how can i prevent this? the backup should only start, when the computer is on at the backup start time

Data Protector Express will do that as soon as the service starts. Why would the computer not be on at backup time?
Smart Program, it knows that something was wrong, (computer off), and tries to catch up.
Only thing you can do is stop the job.
